Description:
The model SMCF 54 is a 16.3 meter catamaran hull design with a displacement 16.1 ton powered
with two 650 Hp Volvo Penta Engines. The design maximum speed is 35 knots with a cruising speed
of 22 knots
The main deck houses an air conditioned cabin with seats for 74 passengers and two toilets with
freshwater access. On the fly bridge and upper deck there will be walking space and additional seats.
The hull and the superstructure are composed of polyester reinforced fibreglass certified by Lloyd's
Register of Shipping. The hull is a single laminate, the superstructure and the sides are sandwich
laminated.
The underwater parts of the hull will be protected an anti fouling paint. Other outer surfaces have a
gel coat finish.
